If someone life is a series of dreams to achieve, Fulbright program is a tale that tells us to treasure our dreams, a spirit that encourages us to keep holding onto our dreams, and a bridge that helps us go from a dream to our next dream. During my time as Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant, I can see how big potentials that this program offers. It gives me opportunity to develop myself as well as to develop my students. Developing myself, I then see how much contribution I later on should and could give to my colleagues, to my society and home country, and to my other brothers and sisters from all around the globe.

Being given a chance to live abroad, I am also given a chance to expand my perspectives about differences, to redefine my concepts about tolerance, and to enhance my sensitivity for others’ background. Living in a world of full strangers, I realize that a broad mindset, positive responses, and welcoming attitude could easily help make this world much brighter. Regarding Fulbright, there are always so many to tell, but to conclude: I know now I have a dream, like many others too. I know we have to believe in our dream and struggle to achieve it. I believe there is one that will always stand by us who treasure our dreams. And it is Fulbright.
