Tamar Law is a PhD candidate at Cornell University in global development. She holds a master’s in philosophy (MPhil) in human environmental geography from the University of Oxford.

Her research in Indonesia examines the environmental politics of coastal restoration, with a focus on Blue Carbon governance. She is affiliated with Professor Ahmad Maryudi at the Sebijak Institute at the University of Gadjah Mada.
