Rahmat Husein Andri Ansyah is a researcher at the Research Center for Public Policy at the National Research and Innovation Agency (Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional or BRIN) in Jakarta. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Da’wah management from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Dakwah Al-Hadid and a master’s degree in Islamic studies from Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel.

He is working toward a doctorate in public policy at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, with research interest that includes governance and policymaking from religious and cultural perspectives.
