Yana Karisma is a lecturer in English teaching at Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English teaching from Universitas Mataram and a master’s degree in English from Lund University, Sweden.

Through the Fulbright Doctoral Degree Scholarship, he pursues a PhD in teaching and learning at Ohio State University, with research interests in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
