As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Ohio State University, Dr. M. Arif Rahman Hakim is conducting research on the implementation of a US Government-sponsored competency enhancement training program for madrasah English language teachers in Indonesia. He aims to strengthen his research and publication activities through engagement with a supportive academic environment and plans to share his US experiences with institutions and colleagues in Indonesia.

Dr. Arif is a lecturer in English language education at Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Soekarno, Bengkulu. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the same university, a master’s degree from Universitas Islam Malang, and a PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, all in English language education.
