Alice Rodi is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) co-teaching English at SMK Raden Umar Said Kudus, Central Java.

Alice graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a major in linguistics and a minor in anthropology. She wrote her senior thesis on the status of the Indonesian language in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, as a Barbara Horowitz Scholar of Distinction.

In Kudus, she hopes to explore the intersections of language, culture, and creative expression alongside her students and host community, while deepening her understanding of Indonesia through everyday exchange.
