As a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA), Jason Yan co-teaches English at SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo in East Java.

He recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in public health, specializing in environmental health sciences and engineering. His academic and field experiences span maternal and child health programs in Thailand to environmental health research, fueling his interest in the intersections of sustainability and public well-being.

Jason has studied sustainable development across Europe and implemented public health initiatives in Southeast Asia. These global experiences have shaped his perspective on environmental challenges and strengthened his commitment to cross-cultural learning. In Sidoarjo, he looks forward to contributing to his school while fostering dialogue on science, health, and the environment through meaningful community engagement.
