Russasmita Sri Padmi is an academic specialist at SEAMEO QITEP­ Mathematics (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization,  Regional Centre for the Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel) in Yogyakarta. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. With a scholarship from the International Master’s Programme in Mathematics Education, jointly funded by DIKTI and Nuffic Neso (a Dutch government scholarship), she spent one year at Universitas Negeri Surabaya and a second year at Utrecht University, before ultimately earning her master’s in statistics education.

Her study is on STEM education  at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. She intends to help strengthen SEAQiM’s program in STEM education upon returning from her research in the United States.
