Apner Songa owns a small savings-and-loan microfinance business in Tobelo, North Maluku, and is a part-time teacher at Manggala Perkasa School there, as well. He earned a diploma degree in ecotourism from Padamara Polytechnic in 2013. He is now using a CCIP award to study business management and administration at Mesa Community College, Mesa, Arizona.
