For her Fulbright Doctoral degree program in industrial engineering, Diesta Iva Maftuhah is placed at North Carolina State University. Her research focus is on optimization, system modeling and simulation, and logistics & distribution management.

Diesta is a lecturer at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in Surabaya, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering.
