A.Tenri Sumpala is originally from Makassar, South Sulawesi. She is currently teaching Bahasa Indonesia at John Hopkins University in Washington DC. She loves teaching because it is the best way to learn. Furthermore, being a teacher brings a huge responsibility to educate the students.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2011 and master’s degree in 2012 in English Education at State University of Makassar (UNM). She is currently working as an English teacher in Bosowa School Makassar. She hopes that the knowledge and the experiences gained after completing the program will be applied and shared not only in her working place but also in her environment.
