Agung Wahyu Utomo is pursuing a master’s degree in wildlife ecology and conservation at the University of Florida. His study focuses on wildlife monitoring systems, and he hopes to involve the local community in forest governance.

An environmental journalist at Wartapala Indonesia Eco Foundation, a media partner for Indonesian nature enthusiasts in Sidoarjo, he completed his bachelor’s degree in forestry from Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.
