Ahmad Aswin Masudi currently pursuing his study in the doctoral program in Industrial and Trade Economics at Western Michigan University.

His proposed doctoral dissertation research aims to analyze the dynamic effects of agglomeration externalities toward foreign firms’ decisions for location in Indonesia’s manufacturing industries.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Universitas Katholik Parahyangan (UNPAR) in 2009, and continued to his Master’s degree in economics from Universitas Indonesia in 2013.

Upon the completion of his Ph.D program, he intends to return to continue teaching at his home institution at Department of Development Economics UNPAR, Bandung where he was recently appointed as a permanent teaching staff assigned to teach advanced microeconomics and econometrics courses for undergraduate students and a co-advise final-year students of industrial economics for their thesis.
