The Negeri 5 Menara community led by Novelist/ Motivator Fulbright alum Ahmad Fuadi in cooperation with Tanjungpura State Unversity (UNTAN) organized a one day seminar on “Hunting for Scholarships” at the Auditorium of Tanjungpura State University in Pontianak on Saturday, December 13, 2013. It was attended by some 1000 enthusiastic students and faculty members from several different universities in West Kalimantan.

Fuadi related his experience obtaining 9 scholarships to pursue academic and writing scholarships abroad; he shared his tips on how to win the scholarships. AMINEF is the only scholarships provider participated in this event. While the four panel who are senior faculty members of UNTAN speaking about their experience studying abroad are alumni from the U.S., Australia, Germany, and Japan.
The seminar was organized by students of UNTAN with the assistance of students of several different campuses who are volunteers and members of tha Patria Education Group led by Dr. Dani Patria, senior Associate Professor in Economics at UNTAN, who earned his Master’s degree from American University.
