
Aldilla Stephanie Suwana is studying for a master’s level degree (LL.M.) in environmental law at Harvard Law School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She hopes to conduct research on developing rules and regulations as tools to achieve sustainable development, and upon her return to Indonesia, she wants to pursue a career as a public interest environmental lawyer.
She holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude in law from the University of Indonesia and after graduating in 2011, she worked as legal counsel for two Indonesian government institutions: Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and the National REDD+ Agency (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation).
