Ali Akbar Tambunan was born in Kotapinang, North Sumatera. He is currently pursuing his study in Sustainable Agriculture at Mesa Community College. He was inspired to pursue that field by the fact that agriculture sector is still important in Indonesia. Hence, managing it in a sustainable way is needed. He believes that agriculture is the most potential sector if we use can apply the right method.

Previously, he earned a Diploma degree in Agribusiness Study Program at Agricultural Polytechnic Andalas University, West Sumatera in 2013. Prior to his CCI Program, he was an Agronomy Assistant at PT. Smart Tbk at Ketapang, West Kalimantan.
