AMINEF congratulates Indonesian PhD students recipients of the 2021 overseas travel grant funded by the American Indonesian Cultural & Educational Foundation (AICEF).
A virtual meet and greet was held today with the head of AICEF, Wayne Forrest, the 15 grantees, AMINEF ED, Alan Feinstein, and AMINEF officers. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet the grantees, discuss their respective research projects’ preparations, and answer any questions. The field research in Indonesia takes place in 2021 and 2022.
These grantees are pursuing their PhD under various scholarships schemes, including Fulbright Doctoral Degree (PhD) scholarships and others such as The Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP).
As stated on its website, AICEF is a New York City-based not-for-profit corporation devoted to fostering closer cultural and educational ties between the people of the United States and the Republic of Indonesia. The Overseas Travel Grant is a scholarship offered to Indonesian PhD students currently enrolled in an accredited US university or college for their dissertation research in Indonesia.
We send our best wishes for successful research to all 2021 overseas travel grant recipients.
