Anita Novianty is a lecturer in psychology at Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana, Jakarta.

She is pursuing a PhD in human behavior and sustainability sciences at Northeastern University to explore the cultural concept of distress and coping mechanism strategies among people from various cultural groups in Indonesia.

She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
