Aulia Azizah is studying for a graduate degree in environmental chemistry at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry, State University of New Yor, in Syracuse, NY. She wants to do research on water quality analysis and the various issues related to clean water.

After graduating with a bachelor’s-level degree in chemistry from Lambung Mangkurat University in 2012, in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, she worked as a science tutor in a private school and as a lab assistant. She then went to work for PD PAL, a provincial government-supported company focused on water sanitation for the city of Banjarmasin.
