With his Fulbright Master’s degree scholarship, Briantama Asmara studies environmental conservation at University Massachusetts, Amherst. He wants to understand better the complexities of the water resource problem in Papua with a community-based approach.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental science from Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Previously he was a data analyst at HERE Technologies in Jakarta.
