Chris Hulshof is a student of history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a master’s in history and a master’s in Southeast Asian studies. Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of History at the University of California-Berkeley. He is currently conducting his dissertation research in Indonesia with funding from the Fulbright-Hays DDRA and support from his in-country advisor, Prof. Dr. Ganewati Wuryandari of Pusat Riset Politik – Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (PRP-BRIN). Chris’ research focuses on the late 1960s and early 1970s Indonesian political economy.
