Citra Widya Kusuma is studying for a PhD in nutrition at Tulane University. She aims to improve the current structure and practice in Indonesia’s community-based service and primary care .

She is a lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta where she completed her bachelor’s degree in health and nutrition. She earned her master’s in public health in nutrition from the University of Queensland, Australia.
