Community College Initiative Program had given me the opportunity to grow as an individual, enrich my knowledge and skill at the same time. It was the best two years in my entire life. Academic and non academic achievements, organizational and leadership skill, internship and community service, socializing with American society, bonding with all grantees from other countries who participated in this program, meeting countless international students, had changed me in so many good ways as a human being. My eyes are open wide, so is my heart, and my mind. I experienced the difference and was inspired to make a difference. My love for Indonesia is escalating. It is so true that USA is a land of opportunity. It is land of free and home of the brave. The most amazing outcomes are friendship and peace around the world. I believe everyone who participated in this program could not agree more that friendship and peace are not difficult to achieve when everyone looks for similarity other than differences
