Dan Fellner will be teaching seminars in intercultural communications and travel writing at the Ngurah Rai University in Denpasar, Bali during his six-week Fulbright Specialist grant to Indonesia. Additionally, he will be lecturing at other universities in Indonesia and working with government public relations professionals on how do effectively deal with the foreign news media.
He has more than 35 years of experience in corporate public relations, television news and university teaching in the United States, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia. He currently is a faculty associate in Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication at Arizona State University, where he has taught since 1998.
This is Fellner’s sixth Fulbright fellowship; previously he has received Fulbright Scholar grants to Latvia, Moldova and Bulgaria, and Fulbright Specialist grants to Lithuania and Latvia.
