Dr Aaron Kingsbury is US Fulbright Specialist at the University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta in Indonesia.

He is an associate professor at Maine Maritime Academy, USA, and a research advisor for the Agriculture and Forestry Research and Development Centre for Mountainous Regions, Vietnam. His research interests include cultural and environmental geographies, climate change, indigenous knowledge, gender, and sustainability in agriculture, geospatial technologies, and low-altitude remote sensing using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)/drones and kites. Dr Kingsbury was a US Fulbright Scholar in Vietnam from 2021 to 2022.
