Dr. Agnes Tang, a Fulbright Senior Scholar to Taiwan, was one of the keynote speakers at the 2nd International Conference on Language, Literature, and Teaching held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia earlier in May. The theme of the conference was “Future Perspective for Language Education, Linguistic and Literacy Studies in the 4.0 Era”. Also, she provided a workshop titled “Picture Books: More Than Just Stories” where she shared with the faculty of English Education and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education the benefits of using picture books in the ELT classroom.
