Dr. Antoni Tsaputra is a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Negeri Padang, chair of Australia–Indonesia Disability Research and Advocacy Network (AIDRAN), and a board member of Perkumpulan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI). He is researching Disability and Development Studies at World Enabled with a project “Leaving no one behind: Engagement of disabled people in achieving the SDGs in ASEAN’s cities.” He hopes that his research will build a body of evidence to contribute to implementing the 2030 Agenda for people with disability and, in particular, to help policymakers design new policies and programs or refine existing policies to promote disability inclusion in the SDGs governance in Southeast Asia.
Dr. Antoni earned his bachelor’s degree in English literature from Universitas Andalas, a master’s in journalism and communications from Griffith University, Australia, and a PhD from the University of New South Wales in social science with a concentration in disability policy.
