As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Dr. Effendi Limbong is conducting research in the field of education, focusing on integrating digital storytelling in English language teaching. His project uses PACIFIC tools and the TPACK framework to explore Dayak cultural narratives as a case study. Through this work, he aims to enhance English language learning while helping preserve Indonesia’s indigenous cultural heritage.

Dr. Effendi is an English lecturer at Universitas Mulawarman in Samarinda. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English education from Universitas Mulawarman and a master’s and PhD in education from Flinders University, Australia.
