At the University of Arkansas, Dr. Misriyani is researching “Controlled Drug Release Using a TiO2 nanotube-based FRET System.” She believes that research in the United States is needed since her home university has limited laboratory equipment to research applied chemistry. She hopes to improve her competency and lead to impactful research publications through exchanging knowledge with American scientists.

Dr Misriyani is a lecturer at Universitas Alkhairaat, Palu.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Universitas Brawijaya, her master’s from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and her PhD from Universitas Hasanuddin, all three degrees in chemistry.
