From September 18 to October 29, 2017, Professor Yampolsky will teach for two weeks at the University of Indonesia in Depok, Jakarta, one week at the University of North Sumatra, one week at Halu Oleo University in Southeastern Sulawesi, and for shorter periods in Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung.  He will end his Fulbright Specialist period by giving a presentation at The Association for Oral Tradition (ATL) tenth Seminar in Oral Traditions, held in Lombok at the end of October 2017.

ATL requested Professor Yampolsky to support its undergraduate and graduate teaching programs at several universities in Indonesia, training students in the theory and practice of research into Indonesia’s abundant oral traditions.
