Dr. Rahman Azis Prasojo is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Politeknik Negeri Malang. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Politeknik Negeri Malang, and both a master’s and a PhD in electrical engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung.

As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, Dr. Rahman is conducting research in electrical engineering – power and machines – at California Polytechnic State University. His project focuses on improving the reliability of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Indonesia through advanced performance evaluation and predictive maintenance. He plans to implement and scale the research outcomes to support Indonesia’s renewable energy transition and hopes to build long-term collaborations with US institutions to drive innovation in renewable energy solutions.
