Dr. Sabar Pambudi is a senior researcher at the Research Center for Vaccine and Drugs, BRIN, Jakarta.

His research project at the University of Nevada is on bioengineering/biomedical engineering, entitled “The development of mouse monoclonal antibody for a Nipah virus rapid diagnostic test.” He is looking forward to comparing notes on similar research done in the US on infectious diseases that have the potential to cause the next pandemic. In addition, he would benefit from the most advanced facilities for the development of detection systems for these infectious diseases.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Universitas Indonesia and holds a PhD in medical science from Osaka University, Japan.
