Eko Sumaryanto undertakes his PhD program in occupation and rehabilitation science at Colorado State University. His research interest is in rehabilitation science that focuses on mental function issues and explores efforts to maintain well-being through active occupations and inclusive participation.

Eko holds a bachelor’s degree in public health from University Muhamadiyah Surakarta and a master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Canberra.

He is a lecturer, researcher, and clinical supervisor at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Surakarta, Central Java.
