
Eta Farmacelia Nurulhady is currently pursuing her study in the doctoral program in English Literature at Louisiana State University and A&M College.
Topics related to gender in analyzing literary works is one of her proposed research interests. She would like to find out how literary works and images represented in media (traditional and online) can be used to promote gender equality.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Diponegoro in 1996 and her Master’s degree in Literature from Universitas Diponegoro in 2005 and another Master’s degree in Literature and Literary Theory from University of Kansas in 2008.
Upon the completion of her Ph.D program, she plans to continue teaching at Universitas Diponegoro, conducting research in literature and literary theory, and later to support the English Department and the Graduate Program of Literature with new coursework and improved curriculum.
