Fulbright Scholar Prof. Xun Liu Shares His Fulbright Projects in Kansai University, Japan

With funds from the Fulbright East Asia Pacific regional travel program (RTP), Professor Xun LIU of Rutgers University, a US Fulbright Scholar in China in 2017-2018, was able to visit Kansai University in Osaka, Japan from March 1 to 8, 2018. On March 6, he gave a public lecture on his Fulbright-funded research project entitled “Daoist Patronage and Practice of Literati Arts, Elite Culture, and Local Politics in Late Qing Nanyang” at the Institute for Oriental and Occidental Studies at Kansai University. During his stay in the Kansai area, he was also able to visit Bukkyo and Kyoto universities.”
