Henry Calkins is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) co-teaching English at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus, Jawa Tengah.

Henry graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Spanish.

Working as a Waterfront Counselor in California and as an assistant teacher at a Tucson Middle School, Henry discovered a passion for teaching that he is eager to pursue as a Fulbright ETA. In Indonesia, he hopes to find ways to impact those around him through education and after-school programs while learning from the culture and perspectives of those in his community.
