Imamatul Khair pursues a master’s degree in bilingual, ESL, and multicultural education (BEM) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She wants to investigate the interrelationships between culture, English language learning and develop the best language teaching and learning practices for developing child and adult literacies.

Imamatul is a director of ImaTransProof, a language institute that strongly supports bilingualism and literacy skills in multilingual communities.

She graduated with a bachelor’s in English from Universitas Airlangga.
