Jackson Harris co-teaches English at SMKN 1 Kokap in Yogyakarta as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA).

He earned a degree in biology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. His interest in environmental conservation and intercultural exchange has led him to participate in tropical ecology field studies in Hawaii and Costa Rica.

Raised in a multicultural family and in the outdoors of Vermont, Jackson values the connections between community, culture, and place. In Yogyakarta, he looks forward to engaging with his students and host community—both in the classroom and through shared experiences in nature.
