Jalaluddin is pursuing a PhD in tech in education and second language acquisition at the University of South Florida, focusing on curriculum development and pedagogy.

He lectures at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Keguruan dan Pendidikan (STKIP) Paracendekia Nahdlatul Wathan Sumbawa in Sumbawa. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English teaching from STKIP Hamzanwadi and a master’s in education from Monash University, Australia, with The Indonesia Endowment Fund for Educationan (LPDP) scholarship.
