Jasmine Coley is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) co-teaching English at SMKN 3 Kendari in Southeast Sulawesi.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in integrated digital media from New York University with a minor in film production. Her experience supporting students in classrooms, summer camps, tutoring programs, and hospitals has shaped her interest in education and community engagement.

Jasmine was drawn to Indonesia’s emphasis on community and mutual support — values she connects with through her cultural background. She hopes that her Fulbright year will allow her to contribute to her students’ learning and deepen her own understanding of Indonesia as a space for meaningful exchange.
