John McGlynn shared his dynamic experiences in translating Indonesian literature for overseas markets through Lontar Foundation, an organization that he co-founded with some prominent Indonesian authors such as Goenawan Muhamad, Sapardi Djoko Damono, and Umar Kayam in 1987. John McGlynn is one of AMINEF Board of Trustees members.
