Jos Rizal is a writer and social worker at the local office of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection in Kabupaten Bangli, Bali. He earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Universitas Jember.

Through the Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship, he is studying social welfare at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
