Khalid Osman is currently teaching at SMAN 1 Boyolali, Central Java. His passion for teaching stems from his volunteer experience as an ESL instructor. Khalid’s travels have shaped his global perspective and reaffirmed the need for cross-cultural awareness in our society. He is excited to work alongside his co-teachers and learn the nuances of Indonesian culture. Khalid is particularly interested in how Indonesia maintains the duality of culture and religion as the largest Muslim country. He is a graduate of Miami University’s Farmer School of Business with a degree in Finance. He hopes to use this experience to further his own education non-profit initiative. Khalid’s hobbies include martial arts, music, cooking and politics.
