Kush is a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he studied molecular and cellular biology. Throughout his undergraduate experience, Kush tutored inmates for their GED which developed his interest in teaching. Additionally, he worked as a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry Lab and hopes to do fun science projects with his students and community. He is excited to learn Indonesian, observe Indonesia’s health care system, and experience the country’s rich culture and food.
For his Fulbright ETA program, Kush is placed in Kudus, Central Java where he will co-teach at SMK Raden Umar Said.
After returning to the US, Kush hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career in healthcare policy.
