
Liana is a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Mataram in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara Province. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Universitas Mataram in 2000 and her Master’s degree in post-harvest technology from Washington State University in 2011.
Her research interest is how to manage post-harvest horticultural produce loss. Thus she would like pursue her Doctoral degree in post-harvest biology and technology. She aims to use simple and low cost post-harvest technology to improve modified atmosphere packaging to enhance the shelf-life and quality retention of horticultural produce.
Upon completion her degree, she will return to her institution to do research and public service.
For her Fulbright Doctoral degree program in horticulture, Liana is placed at Texas A&M University.
