Lidya Pawestri Ayuningtyas is teaching Indonesian at the University of Michigan.

She earned her diploma in publishing studies and journalism from Jakarta State Polytechnic, a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Indonesia, and a master in TESOL from University College London, UK.

She is a lecturer in English and Indonesian-as-a-foreign-language at Jakarta State Polytechnic. She has been teaching English for three years.
