Lucy graduated from Bates College with a degree in economics and rhetoric. While at Bates, she swam on the varsity swim team and mentored students in the public elementary and middle school classrooms. Her travel experiences have informed her interest in cross-cultural involvement. She looks forward to becoming a part of her new community and learning about her students and co-teachers.

For Lucy’s Fulbright ETA, she will co-teach at MAN Temanggung, Central Java.
