Lutfi Ashar Mauludin is working on a doctorate in foreign, second, and multilingual education the Ohio State University.

He is a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English education from Universitas Negeri Semarang and his master’s double degree in teaching and learning: foreign and second language education at the Ohio State University and English education at Universitas Negeri Semarang within two years.
