Dr. Grace Wang, US Fulbright Scholar to Hong Kong, flew to Korea in May to give a lecture on “An Asian American Movement Online?: Youth and Social Media Activism” at Yonsei University, supported by East Asia Pacific Regional Travel Program (RTP).

The lecture by Dr. Wang, an Associate Professor of American Studies at the University of California, Davis, was a part Yonsei University’s Center for Social Innovation Workshop series.

“I was delighted to have the opportunity to discuss my research about Asian American youth activism with students and faculty at Yonsei University, as well as to learn about their own projects and initiatives. The Center for Social Innovation is truly remarkable for the projects it funds,” said the Fulbright Scholar.
