
Muhammad Guntar is currently assisting Indonesian classes and taking courses in pedagogy and American studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. He studied for his BA in English teaching at the State University of Medan (2013) and is a teacher at the Chairul Tanjung Foundation High School in Medan, North Sumatra.
He hopes to inspire students to think internationally because, he says, “education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” He wants to promote cross-cultural understanding to create a better world.
